Violin Lessons with Dr. Lewis

My great aunt was what they call "a patron of the arts." She gave my mother a violin - for me - when I was 9 years old. Back then, I liked baseball better.

But my fastball never developed. So as the years went by, I spent a lot of hours practicing the violin. And in high school and college, I got pretty good. It used to get me a lot of dates. I even got to the point where no job and no accomplishment could ever be as important to me as that feeling of self-satisfaction when I mastered some difficult
violin piece.

But of course, "mastered" and "difficult" are relative terms. I was good for an amateur. But I realized I'd never be more than just an amateur.

Then I read an article about Dr. Eric Lewis. Dr. Lewis is a master. He plays for the Manhattan String Quartet. He's toured the world. He has actually taught the skills to many of the top professional violinists in the world today.

And what I read was that Dr. Lewis had released ViolinMaster Pro, his entire training on video. The article went into some detail about Lewis' simple system to quickly increase your accuracy forever. You can do complex rhythm changes and make them sound totally natural.

What I know about my own playing is that if I practice a tough piece over and over and over and over, I can get pretty good with it. I can impress a lot of people. It's definitely fun - but it is a LOT of work. For a tough piece, it takes me hours, days, weeks, even months to get good with it.

But in these videos, Dr. Lewis teaches you how to play any piece of music on call ... even if you've never heard it before! Believe me, this one blows my mind. And it's my favorite part of the training. When you hit the point where you can play any piece of music somebody hands you, then you ARE a professional. YOU know it. And better yet,
THEY know it.

I learned to train my brain and my hands to work better together than they ever have before. That has become an enormous source of confidence for me. I can quickly master intense grooves and fills. Before this training, it would take me weeks of practice to get good on complex pieces that I had never played before.

This training isn't for everyone. But if you're like me, and you just don't have the time for hours of practice every day, and you REALLY want to be a professional ... then I don't know how you could possibly find a better training. I highly recommend it.
